EasyDocs is designed from the ground up with a strict privacy-first architecture.

We do not collect, upload, transmit, or share any of your personal files, documents, or data with any external servers, third-party services, or cloud providers.

All document scanning, text extraction, and categorization operations are performed 100% locally on your device.

2. Information Collection and Use

For a better experience while using our Service, the App requires certain permissions on your device.

"All Files Access" / Manage External Storage Permission

The core functionality of EasyDocs is to crawl, scan, and categorize scattered documents (such as PDFs, DOCX, and images) across your device's internal storage. To perform this, the App requests the MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission (or "All Files Access").

Purpose: This permission is used exclusively to locate documents (like Resumes, Bank Statements, Identity IDs) and organize them into a virtual catalog within the App.
Data Handling: The files accessed via this permission are processed locally. No file contents are copied, moved, or uploaded off your device by us.

3. Third-Party Services

The App does not use any third-party analytics, tracking SDKs, or advertising networks that collect your personal data.

4. Security

We value your trust in providing us access to your local files. Since the App operates entirely offline, the security of your documents relies on your device's inherent security features (such as your lock screen PIN or biometrics). We do not implement any secondary encryption over your files.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
